Lots of little errands to run today and it’s freezing cold and wet – lovely!
- trench (Aquascutum)
- black leather hobo bag (vintage Celine)
- blush Italian Merina wool V neck jumper (Gap Men’s sale)
- dark blue denim skirt (old Austin Reed)
- brown leather belt (old Austin Reed)
- dark brown knee boots (vintage Bally)
The trench is an investment for me and one of several I have – I just adore them! This one is shaped into the waist which really helps a petite like me who does not need extra bulk anywhere. It’s just so easy to wear and looks good with ZERO effort!
I’m mad about the vintage Celine bag because this is the original Hobo style from the 70’s. The leather is soft and thick, the construction perfect.
There’s no limit to my
obssession passion for clothes because I raid menswear too. This V neck jumper is so soft and washes beautifully in the machine cold wash. The sleeves are nice and slim so very flattering.
I’m not denim mad per se but have always owned a classic denim pencil skirt to channel my love of the 70’s. I find high end high street brands such as Jaeger and Austin Reed do basic classics like this particulaly well.
The belt is just the perfect shade of brown that goes with so much. It’s a skinny belt on most people but on me it looks a medium width. I have worn this so much!
Boots are a fantastic staple for me and worth all I have to go through to find my size and fit.
