First thrifted finds of 2012

A set of French cups and saucers £1. We need more tea/coffee cups but wanted an alternative to China. They are a dark smoky grey in real life.

Glasses with flowers and bows, £2.50. I just love these and will save them for Tween’s forthcoming 10th birthday table. She adores them!

A genuine Lacoste blue check shirt, £3.75. The lovely colours caught my eye – they are much richer in real life – I don’t generally bother looking for mens stuff and was shocked to discover it was Lacoste with spare buttons still attached.

You have done well! Love those pretty glasses and I have a similar coffee set in blue, it seems to make the coffee taste better when it’s sipped from glass. It’s always worth checking out the menswear in charity shops, there’s often an astounding range of quality labels on offer. I bought Jon a Harris Tweed jacket on Friday for £2!! x
