Petite Fashion Challenge #17: Candy Colorized

The Challenge: Candy Colorized
Take a bowl full of colorful candies (M&Ms, Jolly Ranchers, jelly beans, etc.), close your eyes, and draw 2-3 pieces.  Now use those colors (+ a neutral of your choosing) to form the basis for your ensemble.
**Extra brownie points if you post more than 1 colorful ensemble or if you add a DIY element (because I love DIYs so much!) :D**
Oh I welcome any opportunity to wear colour as a reformed neutrals junkie! I love reviving neutral pieces with colour and not just by using little bits of accessories either but whole items that I’m starting to build up. I drew a PINK, ORANGE AND YELLOW and my neutral is NAVY.
This is an easy jersey pencil skirt in hot pink with a navy cotton sweater for everyday.
I managed to combine the orange and yellow in an outfit for dinner.
This is more of rust than orange and the shoes are a very soft yellow but they were the closest I have at hand.
I need to have more candy brights!

I’ve always loved the pink and navy combo. I’m glad to see the navy and orange, too. I like it, but have been nervous to wear the combo often. I think I fell in love with your orange printed dress.

Thank you so much! I hope you do try the navy/orange combo, it’s very versatile. My dress is silk and the wind happen to blow it up in the photo but at least you can see the dragonfly print on it.

Pink and blue plus a scarf!?!?!? My favorite look of yours, hands down, so far!! I used a twilly scarf in my entry and also used a blue as my neutral and one of my picks was yellow, and the other orange-ish plus a green and neutral looking color. If you check out my entry please drop me a line so that I know you visited. ❤

Oh my goodness, I think this is my favorite collection of ensembles you’ve shown so far!! You look AMAZING in these colors. Vibrancy suits you. This is not to say anything negative about your chic neutrals. Au contraire! But that pink skirt in particular is STUNNING.

Thank you so very much – I love these challenges that help to push me out of my sartorial rut! I am now happily over my fear/shyness of colour 😉
