Autumn: Little Navy Dress

I love navy and was really impressed with this little dress from Warehouse. It has short sleeves and the knit is thick and sturdy. I can’t wait to wear this in the Spring! Here with a vintage 60’s wool knit jacket, Versace studded shoulder bag, vintage H belt and thrifted Pied A Terre suede booties.

Knits are very forgiving and comfortable to wear without being too casual. I’ve always liked wearing black and navy together but have only just begun to feel happy with accessorising. The jacket was my first Little Black Jacket when I found it in a second hand shop in Paris over 20 years ago. It’s been worn so much and once accidently got put in the washing machine and survived! I have another in pale blue in the same style here and here.

Thanks for reading!

Another great inspiration! I am always afraid of black and navy for some reason but I can see it can work really well! Thanks (also, great luck on that jacket surviving a washing machine!).
