Camel, Red Gingham and Navy

CAMELAYERS An old favourite thick wool camel pencil skirt that used to be this long and I shortened it. I was expecting to wear it for the last time this week but apparently Winter will extend to April. No matter, there’s no such thing as the wrong weather, only the wrong clothes πŸ™‚ On a bright but freezing day, I layered with a M&S thermal vest (effective, washes well and cheap), all cotton Zara Girl’s gingham shirt and Gap Girl’s navy pure cotton jumper – sleeves are cropped but all the better to show off the shirt cuffs.

Ladies’ jumpers are always too long for me and shaped in which I don’t need and that’s why I always end up buying from the Kids for a closer fit and from the Mens departments for a slouchy fit. I adore, adore traditional knitwear and this jumper has bands of contrast stitching which gives it a lovely, subtle texture.
