Sky Blue, Swans and Tea

CHURCHWe did a little exploring in one of the villages nearby during the recent holidays. This is one its churches. FISHMy mother’s Catch Of the Day dish – the fish in sauce was simply delicious and the potatoes very garlicky and totally yummy! Definitely cooked à la Française.SCONE Home made scone, jam and clotted cream.TEA3 Delicious tea.TEA4Mismatch heaven!TEA2 LEMONCAKEMy son’s favourite cake, Lemon Drizzle and by the time I reached for my camera and pointed it at the slice, it was almost demolished!

      Thanks so much! It was 2 trips amalgamated into one post, once during a rare sunny day in January and the same again last month. Being so far out in nowhere land, we have our own climate 🙂
