Spring Mellow Yellows

GOLDCORDSLinking to Patti’s Not Dead Yet Style for Visible Monday and the How I Wear My .. series over at Everything Just So and The Rich Life on a Budget

For a quick trip to the supermarket on a Sunday, Gap boyfriend cords in yellow ochre, Gap Men cotton jumper, Hermès Brazil scarf, vintage Gucci belt, vintage Céline bag and H&M Kids’ plimsolls trainers. I’ve wanted a simple pair of white trainers for a long time and the perfect ones are these that have laces but because they’re for kids, it’s elasticated underneath so just slip on! I plan to wear them with Spring/Summer dresses and as part of my travel outfit for the Summer holidays.GOLDCORDS2The blue jumper is a lovely spring weight and the cords comfy – although the same size, they’re a looser fit than the purple version.YELLOWSCLOSEI tied it like a man’s tie – roughly – see? I never knew the colours were a match! Who knew Gap could make colours the same as H ….. 🙂 TOASTEDSANDWICHTrying to keep it light and Spring-like in the kitchen too – a fail safe hit with the family – toasted sandwich with salad for a snack or light lunch. This was my plate including baby spinach and cherry tomatoes. I have a sandwich toaster that makes 4 at a time which is just brilliant.

Thanks for reading!

The colours look wonderful on you and I love the way you tied the scarf. Your lunch looks very tasty and healthy too! 🙂

The pattern of your scarf is so pretty, and I like the strong contrast between it and your blue sweater!
