Grey Flannel and Colours

SHAWLFLANNELWEDGEAs my best neutrals are grey, navy and whites, I knew I needed to add colours and only now have the confidence to do it more. I’m also making the effort to remix my old faithfulls and refreshing them where possible. SHAWLFLANNELWEDGE2 These grey flannel crop trousers by Theory are a favourite from a couple of years ago. I bought them because of they are tailored in wool and classic but with a boyish slant. Wearing with Zara Girl’s purple cotton jumper, Hermès belt and shawl and Belle Siegerson moss green suede wedge lace ups (also several seasons old).SHAWLFLANNELWEDGE3 Added the new Zara Girl’s grey chunky waffle knit cardi for a meal at home with 4 generations of the family: a set of Great Grandparents, 2 sets of Grandparents, 2 sets of parents and several children – yes, it must be getting close to Christmas!SHAWLFLANNELWEDGE4My black Chanel bag was perfect for such an evening. I’ve used it twice already this week and will be posting about it soon.

Thanks for reading!

Love the trousers and the shoes – terrific outfit!
Great grands, how very fortunate your family is; 4 generations is wonderful!

Thank you very much! It’s unusual here because mostly families are pretty scattered so to be close by is rare. I’m very thankful the kids get to experience the generations.
