HAPPY BOXING DAY!
Outside the eternal Liberty store, a beautiful collection of flora on a bright Winter’s day in London town earlier this week. Everything they say about the place is true. I simply could never tire of its dark beams, carvings and even the creaking floors remain charming. I had a very quick look around and took a selfie in one the their mirrors on the first floor – sorry about the banshee hair – was a windy day! There were racks upon racks of clothing on sale but nothing attracted me except for the Vince rails where there was a certain silk dress and jumper – but I resisted! A short walk up Regent’s Street to Oxford Street. To meet a dear friend for scone and tea. I got the dud teapot!I’ve been before with my Tween here. I can never resist a selfie in an empty ladies! Black pea coat by Theory, Hermès shawl, Zara trousers, Chanel single flap, Michael Kors sneakers. We moved onto some Oriental cuisine in nearby St Christopher’s Place: A close up of the washed caviar and aged hardware. Wonton soup. Sticky rice. My lovely friend. Dumplings. After bidding farewell to my friend, we had an important pick up to make in Chinatown. Leicester Square. The Chinese bakery. And a bonus at the French patisserie we spotted by the tube station! Festive box and carrier bag too!Back home and some details of my outfit. Theory navy silk blouse, Mango cashmere cardi, vintage Céline patent black belt. What a lovely prelude to the festivities!
