Spring Food

I drizzle nothing more than a little extra virgin olive oil as dressing.CROQUE From the grill to the table: our version of Croque Madame which is a little rich (for me but not for 3 growing children) so salads are needed to balance.BBQCHX2A light dinner of grilled chicken leg, steamed fragrant rice and sauted fine green beans. I hadn’t made this in a long time and it turned out better than expected due to the brand new double oven. I don’t do anything complicated to marinate the chicken, only using Kikkoman, a little unrefined granulated sugar and a few gloves of garlic.

    Nom, nom, nom, this all looks delicious (and healthy!) The Croque Madame do you back the eggs in the oven? And that corn looks so fresh!

      We try … I just fry the eggs in a pan separately then put them on top of the rest when serving. I don’t actually know how to bake eggs, that would be healthier. The Green Giant no salt/sugar added variety is the best! I bulk buy the tins by the trolley load.
