Art, Afternoon Tea and Teen

ENTRANCERAI spent a whole day with my Teen Girl in London, just the two of us and had a wonderful time. The trick is not to overdo but aim for one or two activities and enjoy the rest of the time strolling around.RAFirst stop was the Royal Academy and as tickets had been sold out online weeks ahead, we had no option but to queue. This is to be avoided in future! It’s such a waste of time!DARKAnyway, my London 14 hr outfit: black unlined Theory pea coat, charcoal skinny jeans, low boots, Hermès shawl, Kelly and envirosax (water, DSLR, wipes).teateenWe usually tuck in to a Tea for Two around 11am or lunch but due to overrunning by several hours at the Royal Academy (fantastic exhibition), we were in time for Afternoon Tea for Two proper in Selfridges. SCONES SCONE ECLAIRS TEATEAMESilk shirt, cashmere cardi, no blusher … it’s always very warm in department stores 🙂

Thanks for reading!

    Beautiful Mother-Daughter day!
Was it Ai Wei Wei (fascinating and emotional)or Monet (so sorry I’ve missed it)?

It was such a lovely day together, thank you! It was Monet – fascinating!! We wanted to try the tea at the British Museum for the first time but it will have to be on the next trip.

Thank you – it was! My daughter is also studying German and enjoys it a lot but I cannot help at all since I studied French instead. She really wants to visit Germany but we need to do some research first 🙂

Thank you! I always seem to end taking this K to London and the coloured selliers on holiday. Popped into H my first time since they reopened and my Teen ‘chose’ a few things for me lol!
