The second Summer for our Clematis in the garden ready to burst open.Like so, they are more dramatic than last year’s with more petals. I just love flowers. The dark green leaves and purple echo the Kelly and Violet KDT bracelet I am loving. Continue reading
A Sunday lunch en famille on a beautiful warm Spring Day required some zing! I hadn’t planned on the blue and the lime together as the cardigan, denim skirt and wedge heel sandals were bought years apart. I see it as a sign I am finally on the right track to a cohesive and relevant closet. Continue reading
I never used to think I had a favourite colour, always choosing a small selection of neutrals but now I can finally say I do and it’s Blue! Most shades in fact. It’s the colour that flatters and although not the most exciting in the world, it’s a total work horse for me which is most important. I must link to Sharron’s Style At Every Age Holiday Blues post as well here. Continue reading
I’m in holiday preparation mode this week and scheduling posts until I catch up starting with this from last year that I never got round to actually posting:

The dress is almost 4 years old but because it’s a classic shape, I know it will update with my brogues and pointy toe flats, though not sure about the ankle boots – will have to try! Windy enough to shake my camera – sorry! Red cotton cardigan is Zara Girls, vintage Céline necklace and belt, Rag & Bone brogues and Hermès Kelly 28 in black box leather.

I’ve been dying to wear this Banana Republic denim dress for the last few weeks, everyday the sun shone brightly and warmly (or so I thought from the cosiness of bed), I flung it on only to be forced back to change into warmer layers. I finally got to wear it if only briefly the other day. And it’s no coincidence if my look has a 70’s flavour 🙂 These Bally boots have been waiting patiently to come out too. I found them on *bay last year and the fit is perfect. Bally is one of my all time favourite go to brands for footwear. They’re more beige irl with the perfect height of stacked heels. The sun was shining so I pulled on a dress only to be blown back indoors by an icy wind to rethink my outfit for the day. Spring! Continue reading
